Rev. Akins
I am a Presbyterian minister serving in a rural church. It is important for everyone to be open to listening to the other side before they make any judgments. This is new territory for me, because I usually keep my thoughts to myself, but let's see what happens.
I am a Life Coach and a Christian Counselor, mainly helping those in my community improve their current situation and empower people to become the person God created them to be. I like helping people plan and work through the transitions in life from a new job to a new relationship, from marriage to childbirth. Or anything that happens that drastically changes someone's norm. I also like helping people move into a better future, improving themselves so they can enjoy the future more than the present.
I am fascinated by the way people view God and what they define as Holy. Icons and Idols, saints and vestments, they all have a link between us and the Holy. May we all see the joy of God's creation in every aspect of life and the world around us.
I am a husband, a father, a golfer (sort of), and would love to learn more about cooking and drawing with pastels. I value my family and will defend them to the extremes of my abilities.
